1.) Simple Scale. I like it.

I wanted a simple scale, no batteries, that could hold up 350 lbs.
This one does just that. It seems accurate to me. Good dial size since my vision isn't great. It isn't tiny so if you are a large guy you will feel comfortable on it.
2.) Straightforward and Simple

This is the way products used to be. No flash. No complication. Same result every time. Sensitive to a pound or two difference. Performance not critical to position on platform. Temperature differences require a minor centering of the needle before weighing, using a small wheel at the base of the scale. Checked within a couple of tenths of a pound with an accurate digital scale I have. Solid product. Unbelievable price. I considered it accurate enough to use for weight and balance calculations on my homebuilt airplane.

I am a fitness nut, hit the gym 5 to 6 times a week and watch what I eat and monitor my weight. I have had more expensive scales. However, this scale IS accurate and consistent so I am surprised at some comments saying otherwise. I am pleased, for the price you can't beat this scale, seriously.

Very reliable and sturdy product. I always prefer analog read out over digital; I don't have to worry about replacing batteries. A unique feature is: the scale platform is wide enough to weigh your luggage before you arrive at the airport.
I definitely highly recommend this product as a FIVE STAR.
Thank you Amazon.com for providing such excellent services (also a FIVE STAR).

I did a lot of on line research before buying this scale. It was important to have an analog scale because I didn't want to bother with batteries.(keep it simple!) As scales go, it is good looking. It has been quite accurate, easy to read. I feel I got a good value for my money.

IF YOU NEED A NEW BATHROOM SCALE, THIS IS THE DEVICE FOR YOU...LARGE DIAL (EVEN A HALF BLIND FAT MAN LIKE ME CAN READ IT)...HIGH CAPACITY (I'M 6'5" TALL AND WEIGH ABOUT 290#)...SO...SINCE THIS SCALE IS RATED TO 340# IF I KEEP ON LOSING WEIGHT TO GET TO MY (SOMEWHAT) IDEAL WEIGHT OF 235# IT WILL CONTINUE TO FUNCTION TO THE EXTENT OF IT'S DESIGN PARAMETER...YOU FOLKS THAT WEIGH MORE THAN 340# SHOULD KEEP ON LOOKING...THIS IS AN ANALOG SCALE, SO THERE IS NO CONCERN WITH BATTERIES WEARING OUT OR BECOMING "OBSOLETE" AND THE READOUT IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO READ...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT!
8.) Attractive bathroom scale
Reviewed by: M.Lane Atlanta
Rating:
This is a basic and attractive bathroom scale. I have another scale that is upside down in my bathroom. "Why is it upside down?" you ask. Because it doesn't work, and I've been trying to troubleshoot why it's not working. It has all the bells and whistles, fat monitor and digital readout, but unfortunately it is impossible to get to work and it requires batteries.
That's why I am so pleased with this scale. I simply step on it and it tells me what I weigh. I am not sure if it's precise down to the nth digit. It's difficult to read down to the pound because of the small iterations between the pound marks. I am just looking at my weight to see if I am up or down a couple of pounds, and this scale does precisely that. Plus, it's really nice looking. 4 stars for looks and ease of use. Minus 1 star for not knowing your weight down to the nth level.
9.) Good and repeatable weight measurements

Overall I am pleased with this bathroom scale. I had a digital scale that drove me crazy with constantly inconsistent readings. This scale is accurate and repeatable. My only complaint is that the needle is gray and a bit difficult to see; if it were black it would be more visible.

12.) Good Product - Value for Money

I liked this product. It was a match to my expectation on price and quality.
If there is anything I have negative to say about it, it's that the scale (might) sometimes, turn away from "0". It rarely happens - but it happens.
It's a good piece and I would not discourage anyone from buying it unless you're very particular about those kind of things.
13.) Cheap, Barely Does The Job

This scale was too large for my bathroom. The numbers are large enough to read, but I had a hard time seeing the lines in between the numbers. I would have returned it but I had thrown the packaging away. I put it in my basement.
15.) Another Reviewer Noted...

...that any scale's readings will vary by circa 4 or 5 Lbs depending on how you shift your weight distribution while standing. That's apparently just a fact with a scales - any scale. I haven't bought one yet but I've been thoroughly reading all the reviews here for analog scales and this is the one I'm settling upon (since I had to pick some stars I picked 3 as the most neutral). Again, I haven't tried this product yet but I figure it's useful to note that the way one stands/distributes the poundage apparently affects the reading.
And this one looks good, too; hey, decor's important.

18.) Made of PLASTIC, not glass
Reviewed by: A Bargain
Rating:
Regardless of how this scale is described here, it is made out of PLASTIC, not glass. The 6.5" dial is under soft easy to scratch plastic, not glass. There are no glass parts at all. None. Zero. The item description is misleading to say the least.
If this scale had glass protecting the dial, I would give it a much higher rating.
19.) Indecisive scale

This scale seems to change its mind by more than four pounds each time a person, or a weight, is placed upon it. Other reviewers said it was accurate, but I did not find it to be the case.
20.) Disappointed
Reviewed by: Barb Oklahoma City, OK USA
Rating:
I am disappointed with my new scale. It is difficult to set the needle to zero, it wants to go to one side or the other, it has to be reset after each use, and worse, it is reading 10 pounds light. I would not recommend it to any other buyer.
21.) Never received product

I purchased this $30 item and was waiting to receive it, when the shipper left notice on my door that he had cone to deliver the package but that I needed to sign for it in order to receive it. Not only was this not necessary for such a small item but I signed his notice and told him to leave it at my door and he refused stating that I needed to be there. When I called amazon they said there was nothing they could do and that they didn't know why it was marked signature required. To make a long story short I never received the package although it was at my door three different times but since a signature was requires and I'm always at work, the product was shipped back to Amazon an I was issued a refund. I didn't want a refund I wanted my friggin scale! Stupid...
