I did not want anymore digital scales with fancy ways of weighing oneself. I just wanted a scale that easily pointed to my weight. This is a dandy little scale. First of all, I have a very small bathroom, and this scale just fits your feet and fits nicely in a small space. In fact, my mom, who also has small bathrooms, asked me to order her one. I know this scale is accurate as its weight matched half-pound per half-pound the scale at my doctor's office on the same day. I love my little scale and would recommend it to anyone who is sick of scales having whoops and hollers.

It is a decent weight, nice looking, and wonderfully accurate. I thought I might have to constantly reset it, not to mention determining the +/- factor (always under 10 lbs or over 8 lbs), but I do not have to do either. Everytime I go to step on it is pointing to zero, and the numbers have always been the same as at my doctor's office. I am pleased to have such an accurate measure for so little money.

A weighing scale that does what it should. If you are looking for exact precision or more accurate and consistently reliable measurements--- then you are obviously either 1. in need of a digital scale or 2. not looking to weigh human bodies, but small objects where precision is needed. otherwise, it measures your weight reliably well, and tells me every morning when i put on a pound or more. it is small and light enough to fit in my personal dorm bathroom, and monitors my weight so as a student i can keep myself in track and prevent weight changes at the end of the semester.
if you are a college student like me and looking for a budget weighing scale that does its job, then this is it. decently priced, too. otherwise if you want more, expect to be slightly disappointed. or get a digital one.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION:
I've got size 15 feet, and yes, they hang over the edge, but it doesn't matter. It's not like I feel like I'm gonna fall off, or like I'm not getting an accurate reading. The scale works fine. The price is right, and yes, you have to zero it just about every time you weigh yourself, but it's not hard to do. You just turn the dial and you're done. I got this after paying $35 for a fancy electronic "Healthometer" scale at Wal Mart that stopped working after about 3 months (no, it wasn't the battery). This one won't have that problem. It gives a perfectly accurate reading (I just weighed myself at the gym earlier today on their pro-model scale, and I got the same reading on this scale). I like it. I've only had it for about twenty minutes, so I'll write more later if it ends up annoying me. It is nice and small, also - another nice feature. I've got a smallish bathroom - no sense taking up a lot of floor space on a scale.
AFTER A FEW DAYS:
At first it seemed to give fairly consistent results as long as I zeroed it out first, but now, even if I do zero it out, the readings seem to fluctuate a lot. If I weigh myself 3 or 4 times, usually most of the readings will be fairly accurate, but about every 4th reading it tells me I'm 10 pounds lighter or heavier than the other readings. I'm not psyched on it. Healthometer did tell me to send in my other, electronic scale for a replacement, but the shipping cost me $16. Boo.
44.) Ok for the price
Reviewed by: Dave Nguyen Columbia, SC USA
Rating:
For the price this product is just ok. I believe the accuracy is around +/- 1.5 pounds. Before using it, you will have to set it back to the zero position using the dial. It can take you a little effort tuning back and forth till the hand is right there. The scale is kind of cheaply made. If you are serious about your weight gain/weight loss progress then maybe you may want to have a better one. After 1 months use as a bathroom scale I ended up buying the Health o Meter Digital Scale with a nice LED display at Walmart which costs around 8 bucks more. I am much more satisfied with the latter and would recommend it over this one.

The title says it all. For $10, reasonably performs. No maintanence and does not occupy much space.
However, it seems 1-2 lb off every time I measure (reproducibility issue) and consistently couple lbs less than the number I get from another scale (precision issue). Overall, I can get an idea if my weight changed drastically (more than 5 lbs), so for that purpose it is OK.

When this scale first arrived at my house I tested it out and found it to work perfectly. It gave me the same weight as when I go to the doctors office. But for some reason when I stepped on it a couple of days later it gave me a weight that was 10 pounds less than what I was a when I first stepped on it. I seriously doubt that I lost 10 pounds in two days. This wasn't too bad because I figured I could just estimate my weight by adding 10 pounds on ever time I weight my self. The real problem is that every time I step on the scale the wight will never be the same. Sometimes it says I weight 115 pounds, and when I step off the scale and step back on it the scale says I weight 120 pounds. Also the scale isn't big enough to fit the size of my feet. You also have to move the dial to zero almost every time you weight yourself. So if you want a accurate scale then stay away from this product.
