This is a wonderful and durable scale!! So many family and friends have scales that "weigh heavy" or "Weigh Light", this one just weighs what you weigh. It is always within 1 lb of the doctor office or Weight Watchers. I have had mine for Probably 11 years, and 9 moves. It's durable!! I'm now in the market for a new one only because one of the feet came off and the kids threw it away, so without it being totally even, it's not as accurate. It has about a 3lb +/- now. But I've never owned a scale as great as this one, so with it we shall stay!!

Man, you'd think I'd learn. You get what you pay for. I've bought "inexpensive" bathroom scales in the past - and have never been happy. Finally, I decided I was going to open the wallet and buy a scale with some reputation behind it. The Health O Meter 160 does what it is supposed to do. It weighs me, my wife, and my children - accurately and consistently. Life is too short to be wasting time complaining about the bathroom scale. Just like in the past - this time I got what I paid for - and I'm glad I did.

I have my Health O Meter for 19 years! I recently bought one for my mother who loves it. Very durable, all metal construction. Large numbers are easy to read. Worth the $$$.

My husband and I purchased this Health O Meter scale for his mother on the recommendation of her doctor because she has vision and mobility problems. My mother-in-law finds the scale to be to her liking because she has a large area on which to stand and it is easier for her to read her weight. She also claims that the scale is accurate.

I purchased this scale to replace the comparable Health O Meter ten year old model that we found to be the most reliable scale we have ever owned.We have not been disappointed with our new scale & would recommend it to anyone looking for accuracy.

I've had this for a few weeks. The dial is huge and a bit off-putting at first but the rest of the scale is normal size. A family member was almost 300lbs (but losing weight fast) and the scale weighs him without a problem. It also seems quite accurate and was shipped on time.

Good quality scale that is easy to read and very accurate. The standing area is large enough for a women's size 12 shoe as well as a man's size 15. I'd recommend this scale to anyone, especially those who check their weight daily.

After receiving this item, I weighed myself and my husband weighed himself and each and every time it was different and no matter what we did, that darn dial wouldn't stay on zero. Our weights differed each time by 2-5 pounds. Very innacurate. The only nice thing is that it's attractive, but takes up alot of room too.

With this scale, you can get a new weight each time you step on. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not. I guess you could weigh yourself several times and then take an average, but why should you have to?

Try something else. This isn't worth the effort.

I used this scale for the first time and it told me I weighed 2 pounds less than my old scale did -- wow, did I lose weight? I never diet so I tried a little experiment. Weighed (unopened in each case) a 22 lb. bag of dog food on the 160LB and it weighed in at 20 lbs. Tried a 5 lb. bag of sugar and it weighed 4 lbs. This is a quality scale???

Okay, it's a scale. It is only supposed to do one thing; weigh. It is terribly inaccurate. My scale weighed heavy. I am sorry that I bought it. I can't find a scale made by any company that works, so I don't know what to suggest instead.

I bought one of these about 8 years ago. I *thought* it was reliable, until I noticed the indicator never settles in the same place when it's unweighted (where it should be zero). It's waaaay overpriced. I would never buy another one of these, regardless of how much I like the way it looks.

This scale did not live up to the hype. It never gave an accurate reading. I was not allowed to return it since it was taken out of the box so I am stuck with it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

this item was returned to you (which i had to pay the return shipping) due to being crushed and broken during shipping - placed in a box entirely too big with no protective packaging. very frustrating.

This is a very poor scale, especially for the money. It never weighs the same twice in a row and rarely goes back to zero afterward. Depending on where you put your weight, the ball of your foot versus your heels for example, the scale will vary significantly - up to five pounds! Also, unlike me, be sure you read the return policy before you order as there's a restocking fee of 25% with the Wheelchair folks.
